Good afternoon everyone!
Faith Lutheran Preschool wants to start assembling a little stockpile of supplies for our water table, and to make sensory bins and bottles.
We thought it'd be a great idea to ask for help from our families in case anybody has some of these items around the house, or if they know how to get an awesome deal on any of these items.
Please do not feel obligated to contribute at all, but if collecting items is a hobby of yours, we'd love your help!
Items on the wishlist:
- boxes of dry spaghetti and pasta noodles
- rolled oats
- acrylic leaves (or window clings)
- corn starch
- dried chickpeas and garbanzo beans
- boxes or bags of rice
- dried corn
- water beads
- bottles of vinegar
- jewel rocks (our source suggests finding them at a pet store, which often has them cheaper than at a craft store)
- aquarium rocks
- bird seed
- shoe boxes or larger sized plastic containers with lids (for storing the materials)
- hair gel
- duct tape
- ziploc bags (quart sized)
- random small objects (mini animals, small barbie objects, or other everyday objects - these objects will be used inside plastic sensory bottles and sensory bags)
